Boilermaker Spirit on Display: Purdue Football Hosts 2026 Fan Day

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue football fans got their first up-close look at the 2026 Boilermakers on Saturday, August 8, as Ross-Ade Stadium and the Mollenkopf Athletic Center opened their doors for the program’s annual Football Fan Day.

Marking the end of the first week of fall camp, the free-admission event brought out energetic black-and-gold faithful of all ages eager to kick off the upcoming season.

Highlights and Fan Experience

• Morning Open Practice: Gates opened at 8:00 a.m. ET as fans showed up at Ross-Ade Stadium to watch the team run through an open practice starting at 8:15 a.m., getting an early glimpse of fall camp progress and positional battles.

• Complimentary Treats: Early arrivals were greeted with free coffee and donuts to fuel up for the morning action.

• Autograph Session: Following practice around 10:30 a.m., players and coaches made their way into the Mollenkopf Athletic Center to meet fans, pose for photos, and sign autographs.

• Family Fun & Appearances: Inside Mollenkopf, families enjoyed interactive games alongside photo opportunities with Purdue Pete and the Xtra Special.

With fall camp in full swing, Saturday’s turn-out set an enthusiastic tone in West Lafayette as the Boilermakers continue preparations for their season opener on Friday, September 4, against Indiana State.
